Disabling Randomized MAC/Private Wi-Fi Address

Android (Google Pixel, Motorola, Nokia)

1. Open Settings and select Network & internet (or Connections).

2. Tap Wi-Fi (or Internet).

3. Tap the gear icon ⚙️ next to your active network name.

4. Tap Privacy (you may need to tap Advanced to expand options first).

5. Select Use device MAC (instead of Use randomized MAC).

Android (Samsung Galaxy)

1. Open Settings and tap Connections.

2. Tap Wi-Fi.

3. Tap the gear icon ⚙️ next to your active network.

4. Tap View more at the bottom of the screen.

5. Tap MAC address type and select Phone MAC (instead of Randomized MAC).

Chromebook (ChromeOS)

1. Click the time in the bottom-right corner and select Settings (⚙️).

2. Select Network from the left menu, then click Wi-Fi.

3. Click the gear icon or network name for your connected Wi-Fi network.

4. Expand the Advanced section (or look under Privacy).

5. Change MAC address type to Device MAC (or toggle Use randomized MAC to Off).

iOS (Apple iPhone)

1. Open Settings and tap Wi-Fi.

2. Tap the Info button (i) next to your active network name.

3. Tap Private Wi-Fi Address.

4. Select Off (or toggle the switch to Off on iOS 17 and earlier).

5. Disconnect and reconnect to the Wi-Fi network to apply the physical MAC address.

iPadOS (Apple iPad)

1. Open Settings on your iPad and tap Wi-Fi.

2. Tap the Info button (i) next to your active network name.

3. Tap Private Wi-Fi Address.

4. Select Off (or toggle the switch to Off on iPadOS 17 and earlier).

5. Disconnect and reconnect to the network to apply the iPad's physical MAC address.

macOS

1. Click the Apple menu () in the top-left corner and select System Settings.

2. Click Wi-Fi in the left sidebar.

3. Click Details... next to the Wi-Fi network you are connected to.

4. Locate Private Wi-Fi Address (or Private MAC Address).

5. Click the drop-down menu and select Off.

6. Click OK to apply the changes and reconnect to the network.

Windows 10

1. Open Settings (Win + I) and select Network & Internet.

2. Click Wi-Fi in the left sidebar.

3. Click Manage known networks, select your Wi-Fi network, and click Properties.

4. Set Use random hardware addresses for this network to Off.

Windows 11

1. Open Settings (Win + I) and select Network & internet.

2. Click Wi-Fi in the right panel.

3. Click on your active Wi-Fi network properties.

4. Toggle Random hardware addresses to Off.
